The Clover necklace

on August 5, 2012

Back in March when we were getting ready to celebrate the super fun St Patrick’s Day holiday, LB1 took LB2 and LB3 outside (so Mommy could have a few minutes of solitude while crafting :D) to search for four-leaf clovers.

To their amazement (and mine), they actually hit the motherload and found about 3 or 4 of the good luck “charms”.

When they brought in their haul, we decided we should keep them for prosperity and, well let’s face it, luck! We pressed the clovers for several days in a super huge dictionary — yeah, we actually have dictionaries here and use them (well, to press flowers and four-leaf clovers anyway).

LB2 was especially excited so I decided that her clover should be made into a necklace so she can wear her lucky charm whenever she wants.

We had to put it on a chain with another charm that she already had, but she thought that made it more special :D.

Til Next time…
